Welcome to St. Pius X Regional Catholic School!
It is an honor to serve as your principal. St. Pius X is a Catholic Parish school in the Archdiocese of Washington, DC. We are rooted in Gospel values and are committed to academic excellence, religious formation, and the appropriate social development for all children.
We are a community that promotes social justice and respects the dignity of all students while celebrating their individual unique gifts from God.
We offer an academic and faith-filled curriculum for students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. Our standards-based curriculum, combined with innovative instruction, leads to higher individual achievement and academic excellence. Our students are happy, excited learners with great respect for the community in which they live.

As pastor of St. Pius X Church, it has been a joy to watch so many children pass through the halls of our school. It reminds me of the words Jesus spoke, when he said "Let the children come to me". Jesus taught us that children are the future of not only our faith, but our society. We were reminded of this during the recent Convocation on Education, when the Archbishop said "our institutions need to educate the mind, heart and spirit". He also said. "We need to have a strong faith formation. And, that is what sets us apart. The school is the instrument of faith formation and social justice." As one of the first schools to embrace the "Regional School" concept almost 18 years ago, St. Pius X Regional School has been in the forefront of our education system and will continue to do so with the support of our faculty, staff, parents and the parishioners of St. Pius X, Ascension, St. Edward the Confessor and Sacred Heart Churches.
Through the sharing of our time, talent, and treasure we can accomplish our goals!
