The Advisory Board was established to help develop and define the policies that will govern the operations of St. Pius X Regional School. The Board provides advice and assistance in the implementation of school policies, subject to approval by the Principal and the Pastoral Administrator.

The members of the Advisory Board are elected from and by the current parents/guardians of students of St. Pius X Regional School. Each spring nominations for membership on The Board are accepted. From these nominations a ballot is developed and distributed to the parents for their vote.

At the final meeting of the year Officers (President, Vice President and Secretary) are elected by the Board members.

St Pius X Regional School is a Catholic regional elementary school under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C. The responsibility for the administration of St. Pius resides with the pastor of St. Plus X Church and the Principal. The school board provides advice and assistance in the implementation of school policies, subject to approval by the pastor and principal. The pastor and principal are responsible to the Archdiocesan Catholic Schools Office.
